Positivity
On this page I am going to try and keep a record of positive steps I have taken. SA makes some tasks that people do every day, very hard for me to do. Consequently the achievements on here might not sound like much at all.
27th August 2008
Finally got around to going to get my eyes tested and got some new glasses after 8 years! I had to make conversation with the opticians about university and whatever else they asked me about.
30th August 2008
Booked a ticket for the freshers event on the day I move to university
2nd September 2008
Phoned my bank to arrange student account overdraft. Finished the website I made for my mum’s boyfriend and got paid for it.
7th September 2008
Met up with a friend from the SA forum and went for a drink and to the cinema

good move with the freshers thing … u know, i thought the word ‘freshers’ was only used locally …. never heard an instance of it outside Jamaica
